I am desperately trying to find drivers for this board to run windows 98. Asus doesn't seem to have any old drivers anymore on the website as far as I can tell.

There are Asus drivers available for video, IDE, network, audio etc for 98SE, do you mean first edition 98?
Also if you need a chipset driver, check the SiS website for 651 chipset drivers. Usually they'll have something.
Audio is SiS7012. Ethernet is SiS900.
