What's it like at Maloja/Engadin resort?

Maloja/Engadin, in Switzerland, is one of the areas included in the Engadin ski area in Switzerland (in the Engadine region). It, alone, is a small area but the whole region has 56 lifts and offers skiers an incredible 1861 metres (6107 feet) of vertical descent. Engadin has 350 kilometers (219 miles) of pistes. Engadin is best suited to beginner skiers and snowboarders but there is some terrain for both expert and intermediates. There are 180 kilometers (112 miles) of cross country ski trails at Engadin. For snowboarders, there is a terrain park and a half pipe. The nearest airport is at Innsbruck.
