About this vintage design furniture

This Si833 Signal lamp post was designed in 1953 by Jean-Louis Domecq for Jieldé. It is a simple, robust and articulated piece and it hasn´t any cable in its joints. It is a particular piece because of the system, which consists on a circular and concentric contact in the articulated arm. The materials are, chrysocale, an alloy of copper, zinc and tin. The long arm is not original neither is the base, that is a disk break. Reference : 258767
