About this vintage design furniture

Icon of the French industrial design of the 50s, the JIELDE brand was founded by Jean-Louis DOMECQ from the initials of his name: JLD.This brilliant inventor developed the articulation system without electric wires; the contacts are ensured by onduflex washers, which allows an infinity of positions of the lamp. This model is a workshop lamp of origin posed on a base in solid oak tinted ebony:-Steel arm tubes and globe, original green paint-Aluminum knobs-Brass teardrop switch-Solid oak base turned, stained, waxed This lamp has been completely disassembled, degreased and re-electrified.The paint is original, which gives it its patina and its "vintage" look.Dimensions:base 26 cm in diameter, lighting globe 16 cm in diameterthe steel arms are each 40 cm longThe set, as presented on the photos, measures 60 cm wide and 70 cm high Reference : 250547
