Features

Driver: The ARS300 has a down-firing 12" paper cone woofer for deep, powerful bass. For a smoother response and improved durability, the driver uses a rubber surround.

Amplifier: The 12" driver is powered by a built-in 300 watt RMS amplifier, which is constructed under license from Sunfire Corporation.

Ports: The dual, low-turbulence trajectory ports give you tight, clean bass.

Audio/Video Contour Switch: This feature is used to optimize the unit's performance for both audio and video listening.

Auto Turn-On: In Auto mode, the unit turns on automatically when an input signal is received and turns off after a period of time without an input signal.

Low-Pass Crossover: The control unit has a built-in low-pass crossover that is adjustable from 40-120Hz. The low-pass crossover has a slope of 36dB per octave.

Phase Control: Allows you to select 0 or 180 degrees for the best bass response.

Front panel:

Subwoofer Level Control: Slider control allows you to set the subwoofer's volume relative to the rest of the system
Audio/Video Contour switch: Allows you to select Audio or Video Contour mode
Signal LED: Blue light is activated when the subwoofer automatically turns on after sensing an input signal

Rear panel:

Power Switch: Can select Off or Auto on
Low-pass frequency control: Rotary knob allows you to adjust the low-pass filter from 40-120Hz
Phase switch: Allows you to select 0 or 180 degrees
Power On/Standby LED: Glows green when the subwoofer is on and glows red when the subwoofer is in standby mode

Inputs and Outputs

Rear panel:

LFE Direct: Gold-plated mono RCA preamp input. This input is for use on source units that apply a low-pass crossover to their preamp subwoofer/LFE output (such as THX certified units or most Dolby Digital receivers). When using this input, the subwoofer's low-pass filter is by-passed which prevents interactions between the source units crossover and that of this unit.
LFE Output: Gold-plated mono RCA preamp output. Allows you to loop the LFE input signal out to another LFE input on a powered speaker or subwoofer.
Normal: Gold-plated left and right RCA preamp-level input.
Input from Receiver: Binding post speaker-level inputs for left and right loudspeakers
Output to Speakers: Binding post speaker-level outputs for left and right loudspeakers
AC: AC input for the supplied power cord

Warranty Note

Warranty: Warranty is 5 years for the loudspeaker, 1 year for the electronic amplifier.
