Humans have through all times put something like clothes or real clothes around their bodies. And these clothes must have been washed to function properly. And the history tells us that we can wash the clothes with or without a washing machine! And we have been washing the clothes to get them clean and prepared for use.

We owe the invention of the washing machine to Jacob Christian Schäffer (1767). 30 years later, an American, Nathaniel Briggs, obtained the first patent for a washing machine. It involved pouring hot water into a tank, turning a lever to wash the clothes and then wringing them between two rollers.

The evolution of the washing machine has been in different types through all the conceivable times when being on this blue planet. We have used of hands to wash the clothes when not having the washing machines that we are having today. What has otherwise the history of washing clothes been filled with? Garments were typically beaten over rocks, scrubbed with abrasive sand or stone, and pounded underfoot or with wooden implements.

How have people used the technology that was present to wash different clothes from time to time? Clothes could be washed in a tub, often with stale urine or wood ash added to the water, and trampled underfoot or beaten with a wooden bat until clean. But many women did their washing in rivers and streams, and larger rivers often had special jetties to facilitate this, such as 'le levenderebrigge' on the Thames. So, the idea of using soaps and water is not new, and it has been prevalent through many times when humans have been living and working on this planet.

Today, you can use a washing machine to treat and to take care of your clothes, and for getting the clothes clean for different purposes. The average lifespan of a washing machine is about 7 to 13 years. Typically, you can expect a new washer to last about 11 years. Older washing machines may not last as long, however, due to subpar design.

The washing machine concept is pretty simple – it agitates your clothes in a soapy suds and water to remove any dirt and stains before spinning to drain the water after the cycle. These are ridges that lie on the edge of the drum and help move your clothes around while being washed.

When selling these washing machines to the open markets in every country, you need to know the benefits and the arguments of why you should choose to buy the washing machine that you just want and which you can imagine, to be satified, and to deliver the clean clothes to your family and/or to your friends. And this is the idea of the washing machines, and every firm in the business life is dependent on howing an idea which they can earn money on.

Whirlpool, LG, Samsung, IFB, Bosch and Electrolux are the most reliable brands of washers. Yale Appliance found that less than 7% of the sales of these units required servicing. J.D. Power also ranks Samsung and LG as the highest-ranking manufacturers in customer satisfaction.

Older washing machines aren't as efficient as newer models. Typically, older models don't regulate the amount of water versus the amount of clothes in the drum to save water, for example. New Energy Star-certified clothes washers use around 45 percent less water and 25 percent less energy than regular washers.
