This is a well done interface to motioneye controlled cameras. It's proven stable and more convenient than logging into motioneye manually over a browser. The only thing that keeps this from a 5-star rating is its compatibility with non-phone Android devices for which this app will not appear in the Play store. That prevents this app from functioning on something like an Android TV box where it would prove extremely useful and where the alternatives proved either inadequate or failed to work.

Great introduction, it's basically a much quicker and more private way to get to all your cams than a browser but has potential to evolve. We go through the effort of building cams that don't pimp you out to cloud sites, this app is appropriately private, doesn't monitor my contacts or calls, and doesn't usurp unnecessary permissions. Thank you. Here's hoping in future we may have shrunken multiview of selected cams sets showing on same screen at once for scroll free quick overviews.

Works...except there is no way to edit an ip/url after adding and setting up a camera. You have to delete the camera and start from scratch if the url changes! Not ideal! UPDATE: the only place i find for the camera rtsp url, i am not able to edit. Long pressing on the camera does nothing. I can only change the server the app is connected to... UPDATE 2: same after un/re install. Same problem i have with the server itself too

We strongly feel this issue is related to the motionEye server and not the mobile app. We do not manage the development of the motionEye server, hence the issue is out of our control. We suggest you raise the issue on the motionEye server GitHub. We hope that, after knowing the issue's origination, you will reconsider the app rating.
