12 V battery low

This is the 2nd time within a month that I have received a notification saying my 12v battery is low that I need to drive the car for about 30-60min to charge it. I don’t know if it has to do with me leaving the keys inside the car when I am home

? This morning I can’t even open the car door and I had to get my second key to unlock the door. Not sure if I should take it to the dealer or? Any advice? Thanks!

Not a good idea to leave your key fob in the car.

Best to not leave the key inside your vehicle, this will keep the car always on/ready for the door handles or to be started up.

Call your dealer and talk with the service advisor, they should be able to answer your questions. I agree with the above posts, don’t leave your key fob in the car.

Bring it in to proactively have dealer check system with Xentry (MB diagnostics), reference attached bulletin.
