Tyson Fury is set to face-off against Deontay Wilder on Saturday in one of boxing’s biggest fights in recent years.
The Brit, like his upcoming opponent, boasts an undefeated record, winning 19 fights.
However, many boxing experts and spectators believe his record should contain one defeat.
Nearly 10 years ago, Fury faced off against Essex fighter John McDermott for the English title.
Dismissing his opponent due to his appearance, Fury went into the fight as the heavy favourite.
The cocky southpaw even coined the nickname for his opponent, “McMuffin”.
But Fury certainly wasn’t laughing when the two faced off, with Fury “shipping” right hands all night.
As the final round approached, Fury’s corner could even be heard telling him he was behind on points.

Yet referee Terry O’Connor appeared to be watching a different fight to everyone else, awarding the 10 round fight to Fury by six rounds.
The decision caused fury throughout the boxing world.
McDermott, the victim of a number of questionable decisions, sadly remarked after the fight: “I’m a nice man. What did I do wrong?”
Fury, who admitted his performance was poor, still insisted he won the fight and replays were biased towards McDermott.
The careers of both men have taken a very different turn in the fight, McDermott revealed in a documentary.
He confessed after earning around half a million pounds during his whole career, if he had his life again he wouldn’t be a boxer.
He also believes his lack of success was based on the way he looks.

In their rematch a year later, Fury made no mistake, knocking McDermott out in the 9th round.
Proving their were no hard feelings between the two, McDermott predicts a win for his old foe in the Wilder fight.
