Muse Singer Matthew Bellamy Is Engaged to Elle Evans: See the Stunning Ring!
Meghan Trainor’s not the only one celebrating an engagement this weekend! Muse singer Matthew Bellamy will also soon be getting hitched after proposing to his model girlfriend Elle Evans while on vacation in Figi.
The 28-year-old stunner (who you might recall from Robin Thicke’s “Blurred Lines” video), took to Instagram to share the happy news, saying that while she and Bellamy, 39, originally planned to surprise everyone on Christmas Day, they were simply too excited to wait any longer.
“We are so excited to announce to the world that we are engaged!” she gushed. “Just a few days after my birthday, on the most romantic holiday of our lives, the man of my dreams asked me to marry him! After tears of joy, gasps of shock, and a split second of disbelief, of course I said YES! I can’t imagine our lives apart,” she wrote, adding, “What I can imagine is a bright future full of love and light, family and friends, moments that turn into cherished memories, and a lifetime of pure bliss.”
She also gave us our first look at her (huge!) engagement ring, which was comprised of a single —yet very sizable! — pear-shaped diamond set on a gold band.
While the frontman was previously engaged twice before, first to psychologist Gaia Polloni and later to Kate Hudson, there’s sure to be no bad blood with his exes over the news — he and Evans spent the holidays in Aspen with the Marshall actress just last year.
