ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — A house in Roanoke is a total loss after it went up in flames on Saturday morning.

Around 3:42 a.m. on Dec. 16, the Roanoke Fire-EMS Department responded to a fire in the 600 block of Moorman Avenue NW. When firefighters arrived at the scene, they discovered flames coming from the second floor of the house.

Firefighters said the blaze quickly spread to the attic of the structure. Due to the high heat and the size of the fire, crews entered the building once it was safe.

No one was hurt during this incident.

Fire officials said the cause of the fire is currently not able to be undetermined due to the significant amount of damage.
