Twilight movies in order: From New Moon to Eclipse

IT'S officially been a decade since the final instalment in the Twilight saga was released back in 2012.

Based on the book series of the same name by Stephenie Meyer, here is how to watch the movies in chronological order.

Twilight (2008)

The first film in the Twilight saga introduces an introverted teenager named Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart), who has moved to Forks in Arizona to live wither her father (Billy Burke).

While she starts to make friends at her new school, Bella becomes intrigued by one of the students, Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson), who appears repulsed by her when she sits beside him in a Biology class.

Bella soon learns that Edward is a vampire and begins to fall in love with him.

But will her normal life and Edwards' vampire life collide?

New Moon (2009)

The second film in the Twilight saga begins on Bella's eighteen birthday, where she is celebrating with Edward and his family.

The celebration takes a drastic turn after Edwards' adopted brother Jasper (Jackson Rathbone) attempts to attack Bella after she cuts her finger while opening her presents.

Edward decides to break off the relationships in hopes of keeping Bella safe.

However, Bella has other ideas by taking up dangerous activities in order to feel close to Edward.

She also starts spending time with Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner).

Bella quickly learns that vampires aren't the only mythical creatures in Forks, as Jacob and his family descend from a pack of shape-shifting werewolves.

Eclipse (2010)

Bella and Edward are reunite, but Bella won't turn into a vampire until they are married.

As the pair continue their relationship, Jacob and Edward are forced to spend time together despite being enemies.

Meanwhile, the evil vampire Victoria (Victoria Sutherland) gathers an army of vampires to take down Edward and Bella after Edward killed her true love James (Cam Gigandet).

The Cullens and Werewolves decide to join pack and work together in hopes of defeating the army of evil vampires, while Bella has to choose between either Edward or Jacob.

Breaking Dawn – Part 1 (2011)

The first part of the Twilight finale sees newly-engaged Bella preparing for her wedding to Edward.

However, Bella is required to become a vampire by law when she marries Edward.

Once the wedding is over, the couple head off for their honeymoon with Bella still human.

The pair soon discover that Bella is two weeks late for her period and she is in fact pregnant with a vampire-human baby - which could kill her.

Bella is determined to have the baby despite Edward and Jacob's requesting her to terminate it.

Other vampires get word of the vampire-human baby and are determined to kill it before it comes a threat.

Breaking Dawn – Part 2 (2012)

The final chapter of the Twilight saga sees Bella give birth to her daughter Renesmee and she manages to survive the labour after being transformed into a vampire.

Jacob forms a bond with Renesmee as she begins to rapidly grow up.

A visiting vampire who meets Renesmee claims that she is an immortal child - a vampire changed in childhood who is unable to be trained or restrained.

The vampire tell the Volturi (the vampire council), who now set out to kill her.
