The offering has already made it to the runway at the New York Fashion Week as an integral part of Tam’s spring 2010 collection.

The netbook seamlessly merges the ‘Butterfly Lovers’ design fashioned by Tam with premium PC technology. The latest stylish product is highly portable in nature as it weighs 2.7 pounds and is less than 1-inch thin. With these slim stats, fashion enthusiasts can easily slip the netbooks into their bags or purses.

HP has also teamed up with Beats by Dr. Dre to provide high-performance audio software and hence offers its customers a great way to experience all their favorite music. They can either groove to the music emitting from the external speakers or through their headphones. Beats Audio was earlier only espied in the premium HP Envy notebook PC line.

“As a fashion designer I have always found inspiration in bringing contrasting worlds together. I use computers in every aspect of my life so it seemed natural to marry fashion and technology. Together with HP, we created this movement of fashionable tech accessories with the second-edition digital clutch,” revealed Vivienne Tam.

The vibrant appearance exuberated by the HP Mini 210 Vivienne Tam Edition is based on the classic Chinese love story called ‘Butterfly Lovers’. The design is embedded into the lid of the product by utilizing HP Imprint technology and hence is durable in nature. Users are also provided with a Butterfly Lovers desktop theme which comprises of an animated butterfly start menu as well as custom Vivienne Tam icons and three wallpapers to perfectly blend with the theme portrayed on the outer shell of the netbook.

Besides offering a stunning exterior, the newest style solution also includes an integrated webcam which also doubles as a mirror at a click of a button. The mini laptop also comprises of HP QuickWeb instant-on software which enables customers to send a tweet, surf the net, post to Facebook, listen to music, send an email, chat or even check an appointment; all in an instant. Customers can now pre-order the HP Mini 210 Vivienne Tam Edition while the actual netbook will grace stores by March 19, 2010 bearing a starting price tag of $599 (approx. Rs.27,338). The Butterfly Lovers themed HP Wireless Mouse is scheduled to unveil on March 19 as well for a price of $39.99 (approx. Rs.1,824).
