Synopsis:The Dead Don’t Hurt is a story of star-crossed lovers on the western U.S. frontier in the 1860s. Vivienne Le Coudy (Vicky Krieps) is a fiercely independent woman who embarks on a relationship with Danish immigrant Holger Olsen (Mortensen). After meeting Olsen in San Francisco, she agrees to travel with him to his home near the quiet town of Elk Flats, Nevada, where they start a life together. The outbreak of the civil war separates them when Olsen makes a fateful decision to fight for the Union. This leaves Vivienne to fend for herself in a place controlled by corrupt Mayor Rudolph Schiller (Danny Huston) and his unscrupulous business partner, powerful rancher Alfred Jeffries (Garret Dillahunt). Alfred’s violent, wayward son Weston (Solly McLeod) aggressively pursues Vivienne, who is determined to resist his unwanted advances. The film chronicles Chisholm’s audacious, boundary-breaking 1972 presidential campaign.
Netflix’s Shirley is in limited theater release in the U.S. And it lands on the streaming service on March 22.
Getting lost in Bob Marley’s music after not listening to it on a regular basis for some time, was fantastic! The way reggae music moves you, there’s no words to really describe it.
This film is a great way to introduce Marley to a new audience who is willing to learn and listen to his story. I enjoyed the authenticity of the Jamaican and Caribbean sounds. Something dear to my heart, being Panamanian.
This is a great film, it is not perfect, because no bio pic is. With that said, I thought, the acting was superb. I found Kingsley Ben-Adir and Lashana Lynch believable as Bob and Rita Marley.

I really hope this film will help bring back the “One Love” concept. In theaters now.
Argylle is very entertaining. It’s over the top, funny, and if you over look a few little inconsistencies, it’s thrilling. And it has a great soundtrack. You have to watch or you could miss a tiny detail. With that said, we give it, 👍🏼👍🏼

We watched the eight episodes of the new segment of National Geographic’s GENIUS series. And we thought they did a great job showcasing these two civil rights icons. It’s a must watch.
Two episodes will premiere weekly beginning February 1 on National Geographic at 9/8c and will stream the next day on both Disney+ and Hulu. The first episode of the new season, “Graduation,” will simulcast on ABC February 1 at 9/8c.
GENIUS: MLK/X explores simultaneously the formative years, pioneering accomplishments, dueling philosophies and key personal relationships of both Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. (Kelvin Harrison Jr.) and Malcolm X (Aaron Pierre). While King advanced racial equality through nonviolent activism, X advocated for Black empowerment, identity and self-determination. The eight-part series also brings their wives, Coretta Scott King (Weruche Opia) and Betty Shabazz (Jayme Lawson), to the forefront and shows them as formidable equals of the Movement. While King and X met only once and often challenged each other’s views, the two visionaries, with their wives leading by their sides, ultimately rose to pioneer a movement that lives on today.
