About The Artwork
It is a second paintings in the series dedicated to the social issue of legalization of prostitution in Europe. Hetaira in the Ancient Greek means a companion and a free woman, who were essentially prostitutes with rights. My aspiration is to deliver the issue of the legalization of prostitution in Europe to the masses through the art and to attract attention to such a problem existing. I do believe my art will enable people to emphasize the ladies on the canvas. It is probably one of the biggest problems related to the human rights. Many girls become prostitutes very often because they have no other choice. Besides, it is one the most dangerous jobs.
