Peter W Families will easily enjoy this sweet stop-motion animation with a cute and adorable story about a young girl and her pet pig named Oink. To my surprise, the film introduced a twist I should have seen coming, yet it shocked me and delivered an engaging finale. Oink is incredibly preachy about the topic of eating meat, and it's evident that filmmakers have strong intentions in getting a message out there. The response to this message will vary between viewers. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 10/09/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Jasmine Lane Austin Chronicle Oink serves up a charming romp that investigates animal welfare, the meat industry, and familial bonds. Oct 7, 2022 Full Review Rich Cline Shadows on the Wall Witty verbal and visual touches fill each scene, creating superbly complex characters, including a cuddly pig that simply can't control itself. Rated: 4/5 Oct 31, 2023 Full Review Jim Schembri jimschembri.com It's fun to see subversion in family films, but this stop-motion Dutch treat loads what would otherwise have been a sweet tale about a girl trying to save her pet pig from the sausage grinder with more pig poop than Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome. Rated: 2.5/5 Oct 20, 2023 Full Review Vassilis Kroustallis Zippy Frames Luminescent, free-floating, and with the right portion of emotional investment. Rated: 70/100 Apr 15, 2023 Full Review Randy Meeks Espinof ... it's such an innocent film that it's impossible not to be taken by its particular beauty.
