New Delhi: A new chapter going to be written in the country’s history with the consecration ceremony at the newly-built Ram temple. The event will attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modu and over 7,000 guests on Monday. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of ‘Vikas bhi, Virasat bhi’, has shown that the infrastructure push has also embraced the heritage of the ancient city, where Hindus believe that Lord Ram was born here. Ram is an important figure in Hindu mythology and many people considered lord Rama as their role model.

The simple living habits of Shree Ram have been talked about for ages, but we must know why it is important to include those healthy habits in our daily lives. Some of the habits include:

A balanced diet: Lord Ram is known to live a simple life, and used to follow a balanced diet. Ram is depicted as a vegetarian who ate fruits, vegetables, grains, and dairy products and avoids foods which include sugar and salt.

Exercise: As per Ramayana, Rama is famous for his physical strength and fitness. He was a learned archer and swordsman who used to regularly practice martial arts, yoga and meditation.

Positive approach towards life: Shree Ram had a positive attitude towards life and he believed in facing challenges with grace and dignity. As per Ramayana, he was always known as a calm and composed person no matter how difficult the situation was.

Good Sleeping Habits: In this current busy schedule, we often compromise on our sleep which is very crucial for our overall health. Rama is known to have slept for only a few hours every night and he used to wake up early in the morning. He believed in maintaining a regular sleep routine and avoided staying up late and sleeping in.
