The Kia Sorento hybrid is the new and improved version of Kia’s three-row SUV, offering efficient powertrains without compromising on any of the features that have made the Sorento one of the leading vehicles in its class. Keep reading to learn more about why you should head to a Kia dealership today to see the 2023 Sorento Hybrid.

The Sorento hybrid comes in three different trims: the EX and SX, which make use of regenerative braking to charge the hybrid powertrain’s battery, as well as the SX-Prestige, which is a plug-in hybrid model. All three trim levels are the same as their gasoline-powered counterparts in terms of interior features, with the only differences related to the powertrains.

All three trims are powered by the same turbocharged 1.6L four-cylinder engine. The EX and the SX trims clock in at 227 horsepower, but the SX-Prestige pairs that engine with a stronger electric motor to generate more power at 261 horsepower.

What’s New and Improved for 2023?

For 2023, the EX trim received two new features as standard: a frameless rearview mirror and an 8-way power-adjustable front passenger seat. The SX-level hybrid trim is new for this year and adds leather seating, AWD, a pair of captain’s chairs instead of a bench seat for the second row, and rain-sensing windshield wipers, among other things.

Features of the Sorento Hybrid to Ask the Kia Dealership About

Tons of Cargo Space

The Sorento offers tons of cargo space, with 12.6 cubic feet available in the trunk when all three rows of seats are full, and 38.5 and 75.5 cubic feet of space when the third and second-row chairs are folded down, respectively. This means that you can expand and change how your seats are set up depending on how just how much stuff you have to bring with you, and you will always be able to make it work!

Strong Warranty Coverage

One of the most important things to consider when purchasing a hybrid vehicle is the warranty that covers it, as the more complicated operations of its powertrain mean that repairs can be costly. Fortunately, Kia offers one of the best warranties on the market for its new vehicles, including the Sorento Hybrid.

The vehicle itself is covered under a limited warranty that lasts for five years or 60,000 miles, while the powertrain, including hybrid components, is covered for ten years or 100,000 miles. Another anti-perforation warranty covers your vehicle for five years or 100,000 miles, and you are also covered under Kia’s roadside assistance plan for five years or 60,000 miles.
