This plug-in hybrid sedan moves the dial on Mercedes-Benz's plan to electrify most of its lineup by the decade's end.
The plug-in hybrid system includes a rear-mounted electric motor and a hand-crafted AMG® 4.0-liter V8 gas engine in the front. The system also includes a nine-speed AMG® Speedshift MCT transmission and AMG® Performance 4MATIC®+ fully variable all-wheel drive. This pairing produces 791 horsepower and 1,055 pound-feet of torque. Acceleration, up to 60 miles per hour, is astonishingly achieved in 3.2 seconds. There are seven AMG® Dynamic Select drive modes, three AMG® Dynamics responsiveness settings, and four regenerative braking modes.
The stunning façade of the 2024 Mercedes-AMG S 63 E PERFORMANCE is exquisite, with a distinguished jet wing fascia and brilliant chrome accents across the air vents and grille.
