Scuderia Ferrari is the only team to have taken part in every season of the FIA Formula 1 World Championship, missing just 27 of the 1056 Grand Prix held from 1950 onwards, and the most successful in the history of the sport. For many years the Maranello marque was the only constructor to build the entire car itself: from the chassis to the engine, gearbox to suspension. Over time, it has built 67 cars to race in Formula 1, while 76 drivers have raced for the team. In the past, a further 35 competitors raced privately entered Ferraris. Scuderia Ferrari can boast 15 Drivers’ and 16 Constructors’ titles (the latter starting in 1958.) Among others, it holds the record for the number of wins (240,) pole positions (232,) fastest laps (257) and podium finishes (783.)
