Pretty good. Nib holds a decent amount of ink, and pen body is lightweight but not flimsy. My only issue was that when it arrived, the nib was really scratchy. I know that glass/plastic dip nibs often have a lot of feedback, but this felt like it was going to rip through the paper. I used 12,000 grit MicroMesh to smooth it and it was much better. (But don’t do this unless you know what you’re doing; you can very easily ruin a nib or make it much broader.) I got it quite a bit smoother and it was lovely to try out new inks and to write with.

After smoothing a very scratchy tip on a micro mesh pad, with water, this nib worked a lot better. I'm not sure it will supplant my regular dip pen nibs, but it's fun to work with. Had it been smooth from the start, without work, I'd have given it 4 stars.

It writes really well, however, the glass nib of the i purchasedis filled with holes and bubbles. The ink settles in the little holes and is hard to clean out. It's good as a pen for starting out, but the quality of this pen is not the best.

I didn't think this would tickle my fancy as much as it does. It is weighted just right for me and the flutes on the nib hold a lot of ink. I can almost get a full A5 page.

Fun first dip pen. Appreciate that I can't carry it around a lot worry about breaking it. A little scratchy so I rubbed it down a bit on a brown paper bag and it was good to go
