The Mitsubishi Pajero Mini comes in at only about ten feet long yet still manages to include room for four adults and pack a standard four-wheel-drive system. These peppy little 660cc utes are frugal on gas, feature 4WD, and turns more heads than a Supra! This 1995 is finished in a Green/Silver Two-Tone and offered with a mere 54K verified miles. The body is in good shape other than some minor door dings and stone chips and is subtly accented by OEM rain guards, mudflaps, and a rear spoiler. Fresh off a recent service, this legally imported city runabout is a distinctive Kei SUV that can be utilized year-round!

The two-box design maximizes the interior room so the Pajero Mini can seat four folks comfortably. The view of the road ahead is clear and unobstructed and the tall ride height makes you feel like your driving a normal-sized car. The cabin utilizes some decent materials and has a few surprising options that make daily use more convenient. The dash is in good shape and lacks any major imperfections. A fully functional offroad style gauge pod is handy to keep an eye on and includes an altimeter, thermometer, and compass. The Pajero, like its full-size namesake, also features a digital climate system standard. It's easy to use, intuitive and works as it should. This Mistubishi does lack a head unit which is common but is otherwise preserved nicely. Even the original owner's manuals are included in the sale, just look in the glovebox. Power windows are standard and the driver's glass can rescind down with a one-touch feature. The controls are all at hand and the Pajero even includes selective 4WD that can be adjusted by a cabin mounted lever. The seats are in good nick, upholstered in a gray and blue textured fabric. They lack any major rips, holes, or tears and are comfortable on long drives. The rear passengers also get cupholders which are uncommon for vehicles of the era. The rear seats fold flat to maximize cargo area and the rear door is side hinged and swings open wide for fast loading. The headliner and door cards look good and the carpet doesn't have any major blemishes to note. Privacy tint on the back hatch and rear windows helps to keep prying eyes away from cargo and the interior plastics protected from the heat and rays of the sun.

The mechanicals are fairly simple in comparison to most modern vehicles. The neat thing about the Pajero Mini is the powerplant, which features five valves per cylinder and a turbocharger. The 659cc 4A30 engine is fresh off an oil and filter service which has it running like a champ. The little 4 cylinder starts up quickly thanks to a new 12V battery. Best of all we have had our shop take care of the most expensive service item on this little rig; a new timing belt and water pump will set this thing up for the next few years to come. The plugs were also swapped out to ensure proper combustion so you feel all 60 fire breathing horsepower. It even sounds good thanks to an aftermarket FGK exhaust! Mated to an automatic gearbox, acceleration is peppy in the city and this bantamweight delivers premium fuel economy. The transmission shifts properly and there is surprisingly little slack in the driveline. Admittedly this really is designed as a city car so the Mistubsihi tops out a bit above 60mph, but going above that threshold puts you high in the RPM band. We realize most customers are using these for local errands and whatnot but we wanted to encourage keeping it off the highway. 2WD makes it a touch quicker and a low-speed gearset is available if the going gets a touch. The brakes are spot on and the suspension takes large and small bumps with ease. We imagine this thing would be quite handy off-road with its short wheelbase and small overhangs. The alloy wheels are wrapped in new all-season tires at all four corners. Mounted and balanced by our expert technicians, these quite down the ride immeasurably and will last for years to come.
