The French American ornithologist, naturalist, hunter, and painter, John James Audubon, born on April 26, 1785, became the subject of a Google doodle. This visually attractive doodle featured 9 different birds where the letters were made up from birds and tree branches, drawn in Audubon's style like in his book Birds of America.
August 17, 2011: Pierre de Fermat's 410th Birthday
Pierre de Fermat recognized for his discovery of the original method of finding the smallest ordinates of a curve line was associated with Google doodle.
This doodle was made to commemorate the 410th birth anniversary of Pierre de Fermat, the founder of the modern theory of numbers.
August 24, 2011: 112th Birthday of Jorge Luis Borges
Jorge Luis Borges who was an Argentine writer, essayist, poet and translator became the subject of Google doodle. As the doodle depicted a wide, fantastic architecture scenery which included a large library, a complex imaginary world inspired from his poems and stories.
May 9, 2011: 76th Birthday of Roger Hargreaves
The Google doodle on May 9 honoured the 76th birthday of Roger Hargreaves, author of the Mr. Men and Little Miss series. It randomly displayed one of 16 different logos that featured the cartoon-ish version of the Google logo and one of Hargreaves' characters.
September 16, 2011: Albert Szent-Gyorgyi's 118th Birthday
September 16, Google Doodle celebrated the 118th birthday of Hungarian scientist and Nobel prize winner Albert Szent-Gyorgyi, who is credited with discovering Vitamin C. The colorful doodle displayed oranges and strawberries, excellent sources for Vitamin C.

Google Doodle celebrated and honored the late Mr. Henson as they made a doodle, with some sort of technology, featuring some famous puppets created by Henson. An interactive Google Doodle featured six original characters which were controllable with the mouse and keyboard.
