What age do you think Noel Fielding is, really? How old can our favourite impish Great British Bake Off host actually be? The answer might surprise you.
During Eighties Week on the show, Noel and Matt referenced Emu, a character from a kids TV show from back in the day that they knew the younger bakers 'wouldn't get' - and that they would only get it if they were over 45 years of age.
Which sparked the question, how old is Noel anyway? Prepare to be shocked.
For the record, Noel is 47. Forty seven! Matt is 46. With Prue Leith looking incredible at 80, there must be something age-defying in those delicious bakes. And Paul Hollywood isn't looking too bad for 54 either, right?
It's Matt's first year on the show, after replacing Sandi Toksvig for the latest series, and he's been an instant hit with viewers, especially after his Boris Johnson parody on the first episode.
This week's Eighties theme was a real rollercoaster, as the bakers were tasked with making an ice cream cake for their showstopper. Crucially, it was filmed on one of the hottest days earlier this summer, which, as we all know, is always a great environment for ice cream to thrive.
We'll not reveal who went this week, but the judges branded the losing bake as 'underwhelming' and 'terrible' - so they didn't stand much of a chance. Paul and Prue don't mess about, do they?
As well as Eighties, so far in the series we've had Cake, Biscuit, Bread, Chocolate, Pastry and Japanese Weeks - with Dessert Week coming up next. With only three more episodes to go, crowning our Bake Off champ isn't far off.
