7 Beauty Looks J.Lo Needs to Bring Back for Her Vegas Residency (It Kicks Off Tonight!)

Just like Jennifer Lopez in 1999, we're waiting for tonight. That's because as gold-card-carrying members of the Jennifer Lopez Is the Best Thing to Happen to Latinas Fan Club (a club that we just made up, BTW), we at Glam Belleza Latina are thrilled that Jenny From the Block is kicking off a Las Vegas residency at Planet Hollywood tonight. This global superstar has hit nearly every milestone available for someone of her many talents—and even created a few new ones—yet there's still a glamorous vibe to this gig, don't you think? And since Lopez nunca hits the stage without a major beauty statement or two, we're looking forward to seeing how she blends the signatures that have made her a beauty icon—a frosty lip, major hair and, pues claro, that golden skin—with a few Vegas-worthy twists. So as the good fan club members that we are, we combed through her performance archives to single out a few of our all-time favorites. Let's take a look. Vibrant Red Lips and a Major Bouffant

A relatively unknown Jennifer Lopez portrayed the iconic Tejano singer Selena Quintanilla in the 1997 film Selena. Lopez was still two years away from debuting her first album, On the 6, but her performance made the world pay attention.

Long, Highlighted Hair and Bronzed Skin

Lopez set aside her rising acting career to introduce the world to that hair, body, and skin. Oh, that skin. (Here, at the 1999 *Billboard *Music Awards.)

All Pink Everything

"Yes, girl, Latinas can wear pink makeup!" is what Lopez seemed to be saying to us in the 2002 *All I Have *video. (Seriously, we didn't think the color was deep enough for our skin!) So, thank you, J.Lo.

Glamazon Hair

Hair this long, wavy and flowing is a Lopez classic. Here, at the 2011 American Music Award, performing one of her biggest hits, "On the Floor".

A Retro Updo and Modern Makeup

With all the dancing that Lopez did in her 2013 tribute to Celia Cruz at the American Music Awards, we're not surprised she chose a sturdy Cruz-worthy updo. The modern touch? Glistening, perfectly dewy eye makeup.

A Super-High Ponytail

Here's another dance-permitting hairdo at Fashion Rocks in 2014: the exaggerated ponytail. We love how it shows off her ombre color.

Full-On J.Lo

This look, from her first Bronx concert in 2014, is J.Lo personified. A half-up, half-down updo with cascading waves, paired with smoky eyes and pale lips, needs no further explanation.

Phew! Excuse us while we go play with our hair and makeup now. Catch the All I Have show, which will be at Planet Hollywood until June.
