We design and make a beautiful drop in filter that you install into an empty tank. This product is designed to fit a DEEP BLUE AQUARIUM measuring 12″ x 12″ x 12″ (cube tank). The product is made from 1/4″ black cell cast acrylic and is moderately shoter than the tank so even supposing a sponge clogs, there may not be overflow. This filter comes with a MicroJet 450 pump and a tube of black silicone that is 100% aquarium secure. The pump will have the return hose and 90 degree elbow attached so You’ll install it. Simply slide this filter into the empty tank so that the upright pieces of acrylic are snug against the pane you need the filter installed on. Use a dry erase marker on the outside of the tank and trace the two upright panels. Move the filter away and apply a 1/4″ bead of silicone inside the tank tracing your lines you just made outside. Lie the tank down, and set the filter right on those two lines. You’ll place a small amount of weight on the filter face. Then, inside the tank, use the silicone to apply a small bead around the perimeter of the filter on the 3 panes it touches, making sure to seal off the filter from the rest of the tank. Let cure 24 hours before adding water or fish. Install the pump, return hose and output and enjoy!
