The actress completed her look with mismatched black and mauve heels for the red carpet event.

Her husband of 26 years Broderick opted for a classic black tuxedo with a white shirt, black bowtie, black pants, black jacket and black shoes.

The actress made headlines back in late August when she adopted the adorable rescue kitty her character Carrie Bradshaw adopted in the second season of And Just Like That...

In the series, Che Diaz (Sara Ramirez) adopted Shoe after working at a veterinary surgery - with a shocked Carrie later taking the kitten into her apartment, and later new townhouse.

Posting snaps of her kitten - who was adopted from the Connecticut Human Society, SJP revealed his new name, writing: 'His off-camera name is Lotus.

'He and his siblings were all given botanical names when they were rescued as newborns by the @cthumanesociety.

'Adopted officially by the Parker/Broderick family in April 2023. He joins Rémy and Smila who we adopted in May 2022.

'If he looks familiar, that's because he is,' she added of the adorable feline.

The post comes after Cattrall  shocked fans of Sex and the City and And Just Like That... in late May when it was reported she filmed a secret cameo in mid-March, which she did without interacting with any cast member.

And Just Like That... was first announced in January 2021, with Cattrall's absence raising eyebrows among fans immediately, with Sarah Jessica Parker (Carrie Bradshaw), Kristin Davis (Charlotte York) and Cynthia Nixon (Miranda Hobbes) reprising their iconic roles.

It was explained in the series premiere that Samantha had moved to London, with the Season 1 premiere finding Carrie reaching out to Samantha via text, making plans to meet in person and reconcile.

Samantha's return came in the form of a phone call to Carrie which happened very early on in the season finale.

Carrie arrives home, on the phone with Aiden (John Corbett), checking in on him after he rushed back to Virginia after hearing his son Wyatt (Logan Souza) was injured.
