Men and women were asked to name the most memorable beach bodies and the results featured Hollywood pin-ups like Elizabeth Taylor and Rita Hayworth, as well as those who launched their career from modelling in swimwear, like Christie Brinkley and Farrah Fawcett.

The only bikini on the list that doesn’t actually get wet but still made the cut was Raquel Welch’s skimpy fur bikini in One Million Years B.C, which firmly cemented her as a Hollywood sex symbol.
Salma Hayek rocked the bikini and giant snake look long before Britney Spears in her role as the vampire queen in From Dusk Till Dawn, helping her make the cut.
The jet-skiing scene in Angelina Jolie’s Tomb Raider saw her rocking a simple black bikini, fulfilling many a video-gamers’ fantasy and adding her to the list.
Halle Berry's scene from Die Another Day made the list, with voters believing the James Bond actress gave the original Bond girl a nod with a modern twist. The orange belted bikini she wore in almost an identical scene was the ultimate homage to Ursula Andress, they said.
Curiously, Myleene Klass made the list, too.
The reality TV star made the cut thanks to her white bikini scene in the jungle shower on I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here.
A spokesperson for MobileSlots.com, who commissioned the research, said: 'Our list of the most iconic bikini bodies shows that beauty can be found in every shape and size.
'The famous curves of Hollywood pin-ups are just as infamous now as they were when the images first emerged.
'For some of these starlets and supermodels, their bikini body set their career on fire.'
