The Mini 4 Pro and included RC 2 smart controller make it easy to snag sweet aerial footage.

Fly fast and smart, shoot in 4K

The Mini 4 Pro is the latest update in DJI's popular Mini drone lineup. It can fly at over 35.7 miles per hour. And its light, foldable design makes it easy to carry with you on the go. This agile drone also features a host of intelligent flight and shooting modes that help newbies start recording stunning 4K video right off the bat, but still leaves plenty under the hood for more experienced hobbyists to dig in.

The equipped 48-megapixel camera has a 1/1.3-inch CMOS sensor and f/1.7 aperture, which lets you capture crisp footage even in low-light conditions. You can also record with HDR (High Dynamic Range) for even more detail and vibrant colors.

Keep it airborne

The Fly More Combo Plus includes several accessories to help your drone stay in the air longer. The package comes with three high-capacity intelligent flight batteries, each with a flight time of 45 minutes, and a charging hub that lets you make sure you've got your backups ready to go. There are also some spare propellers, just in case, and a nifty shoulder bag to make traveling with the drone easier.

Capture rich colors

The Mini 4 Pro offers two different 10-bit color modes as well. The pro-grade D-Log M mode captures smooth, detailed colors that make it easier to fine-tune your footage during editing. And the HLG mode uses HDR (High Dynamic Range) to expand your highlights and shadows for brilliant, colorful images.

Smart shooting modes galore

You can produce time-lapse videos, keep moving objects in focus with intelligent automatic subject-tracking modes, or use SmartPhoto scene-recognition processing to optimize your image quality in a variety of shooting conditions. MasterShots will let you pick a subject, and the drone will automatically keep it center-frame while performing a sequence of 10 different aerial maneuvers. And True Vertical shooting helps you create videos that are perfect for smartphone viewing and social media.

The Mini 4 is also the first of DJI's mini drones that supports Waypoint Flight, letting you plan flight routes down to the letter, camera movements and all, and save routes so you can repeat them later. With this many flight modes to choose from, there's something for everyone.

DJI RC 2 smart remote controller

The Mini 4 Pro is paired here with DJI's dual-stick RC 2 smart remote. Its built-in 5.5-inch touchscreen gives you a real-time view of whatever the drone's camera sees. And its high brightness helps you see better detail when operating your aircraft in sunny environments. DJI's latest OcuSync 4.0 HD transmission system can beam 1080p/60fps video from the aircraft to your controller up to an impressive 12.4 miles away. That's some serious flexibility, letting you catch a shot panning over a mountainside or along a ravine while you're at a safe distance.

This wireless technology automatically switches between two different bands (2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz) to resist pesky interference and provide reliable high-definition video transmission. The low-latency video feed and controls keep your flights sharp and responsive, so you can focus on getting the best footage.

Fly and create with ease

DJI makes it easy to start learning how to fly. The DJI Fly app has comprehensive tutorials, helping you get prepped for your first real flight. Before you know it, you'll be zipping the drone overhead with confidence. Omnidirectional vision sensors and a downward infrared sensor also help you navigate and avoid potential obstacles. The drone's Advanced RTH (Return to Home) feature can even automatically plot a safe course back to you at the press of a button or if the signal is lost.

You can tinker with your footage directly within the Fly app or use LightCut, a powerful video editing app officially recommended by DJI. LightCut provides real-time previews of your footage, letting you edit on the fly without taking the time export all of your footage. You can generate cool-looking videos with a single tap using powerful AI and a growing range of templates.

Omnidirectional Obstacle Sensing: The DJI Mini 4 Pro is equipped with Omnidirectional Obstacle Sensing - consisting of both an Infrared System, plus Forward, Backward, Lateral, and Downward Visions Systems along with a high-performance vision computing engine to sense obstacles in all directions precisely and plan a safe flight route that avoids them.

  • Vision Sensors: The Omnidirectional Vision Systems consist of four cameras for obstacle sensing. The vision systems help the aircraft perceive the environment around it for safer and more intelligent flight control. Each camera works in conjunction with the others to provide visual coverage around the aircraft. The forward vision system is accurate up to 59' (18 meters); the backward and upward vision systems are accurate up to 49.2' (15 meters); the lateral and downward vision systems are accurate up to 39.3' (12 meters).
  • Infrared & Downward Sensors: The Infrared Sensing System consists of two 3-Dimensional infrared modules. The Infrared 3D sensing system helps the aircraft assess the distance to obstacles, the ground, and calculate the aircraft position more accurately when combined with the Vision System. In addition, an Auxiliary Bottom Light located on the underside of the aircraft improves viability for the Downward Vision System in weak light conditions. The light will automatically turn on in low-light conditions when the flight altitude is under 16.4' (5 meters). The light can also be manually activated in the DJI Fly app.
Note: Flight Autonomy only provides a certain amount of protection in specific environments and does not compensate for user judgment during flight. DJI warranty does not cover any loss caused by crashing. Please be aware of your surroundings and app notifications when operating the Mini 4 Pro to ensure safety.

Flight Specifications (with Intelligent Flight Battery Plus):

  • Maximum Hover Time: Approximately 39 minutes
  • Maximum Flight Time: Approximately 45 minutes
  • Maximum Flight Distance: 15.5 miles
  • Maximum Takeoff Altitude: 9,842'
  • Maximum Horizontal Speed: Approximately 35.7 mph (at sea level, no wind)
  • Maximum Ascent Speed: 11.1 fps
  • Maximum Descent Speed: 11.1 fps

APAS Obstacle Avoidance: Advanced Pilot Assistance Systems (APAS) utilizes an advanced mapping technology for smooth following and reliable obstacle avoidance in complex scenarios. Obstacle avoidance performance and automatic flight planning has dramatically improved compared to previous generations, increasing safety and providing more options. The Mini 4 Pro is equipped with both an Infrared Sensing System, as well as a Forward, Backward, Lateral, and Downward Vision System.

Notes:

  • The Advanced Pilot Assistance System is only available in Normal and Cine Flight modes.
  • The Vision System cameras are factory calibrated. If any abnormality is detected with a vision system camera, the aircraft will automatically preform calibration; not further manual calibration is required.

O4 HD Video Transmission: The DJI Mini 4 Pro and the included DJI RC 2 remote controller feature DJI's latest O4 video transmission technology. O4 works on 2.4GHz, 5.1GHz, and 5.8GHz frequency bands and is capable of selecting the best transmission channel automatically. This allows it to transmit a 1080p/60fps HD live view from the aircraft to the DJI Fly app on your mobile device at a maximum transmission range of 12.4 miles (20 km; measured in a wide open area with no interference).

Flight Modes: The DJI Mini 4 Pro has 4 flight modes. The Normal, Sport, and Cine mode can be selected manually. The Air 3 switches to the Attitude mode automatically in certain flight scenarios.

  • Normal Mode: In this mode, the aircraft utilizes GPS and the Forward, Backward, and Downward Vision Systems, a well as the Infrared Sensing System to locate itself and stabilize. When the GPS signal is strong, the aircraft uses GPS to locate itself and stabilize. When the GPS is weak and the lighting conditions are sufficient, the aircraft uses vision systems to locate itself and stabilize. Maximum speed is 26.8 mph in Normal mode.
  • Sport Mode: In Sport mode, the aircraft uses GPS for positioning and the aircraft responses are optimized for agility and speed making it more responsive to control stick movements. It can reach a maximum speed of 46.9 mph in Sport Mode. The Forward and Backward Vision Systems are disabled in Sport mode, which means the aircraft cannot sense obstacles and avoid them automatically.
  • Cine Mode: Cine mode is based on Normal mode a limited flight speed, making the aircraft more stable during photo and video shooting.
  • Attitude Mode: The aircraft automatically changes to this mode when the Vision Systems are unavailable or disabled and either the GPS signal is weak or the compass is experiencing interference. When the Vision Systems are unavailable the aircraft is not able to position itself or auto-brake, so potential flight hazards exist when flying in this mode. Environmental factors such as wind can result in horizontal shifting, which may present hazards - especially when flying in confined spaces.

Return To Home (RTH): The Return to Home (RTH) function brings the aircraft back to the last recored Home Point when the GPS signal is strong. It does this by recording its real-time flight path, and when you choose to return home or if the control signal gets lost or the battery is low, the aircraft will fly towards the Home Point, bypassing any signal obstruction and reconnect to the controller. When the Mini 4 Pro detects an obstacle, it will choose a proper path to bypass it according to its altitude. The aircraft will match the images of the ground with those captured at takeoff for increased landing accuracy. When landing automatically, the Mini 4 Pro will scan the terrain of the landing area in real-time, then warn the user and safely hover if it detects

Note: If the aircraft's video link signal is lost during flight while the remote controller is still able to operate the movements of the aircraft, there will be a prompt to initiate RTH that can be canceled.

Flight Recorder: Flight data including flight telemetry, aircraft status information, and other parameters are automatically saved to the internal data recorder of the DJI Mini 4 Pro. The data can be accessed using the DJI Assistant 2 software program (compatible with Windows PC and Mac).

FAA Rules & Regulations: Please familiarize yourself with the FAA's rules & regulations for unmanned aircraft systems before flying your drone. Click here for more details.

Gimbal Camera

3-Axis Gimbal: The DJI Mini 4 Pro features a full stabilized 3-axis gimbal. The 3-axis gimbal provides stabilization of the Air 3' camera, allowing you to capture clear and stable images and video. The control pan range is -30 degrees to + 30 degrees, the roll range is -135 degrees to +45 degrees, and the tilt range is -135 degrees to +80 degrees. You can use the gimbal dial on the remote controller or the DJI Fly app on your compatible smartphone device to control the tilt of the camera. There are two gimbal operations modes available - Follow Mode and FPV Mode.

  • Follow Mode: The angle between the gimbals orientation and aircraft front remains constant at all times.
  • FPV Mode: The gimbal synchronizes with the movement of the aircraft to provide a first-person flying experience.

Camera Design: The DJI Mini 4 Pro features a camera system with a 1/1.3" CMOS sensor with 48MP effective pixels. The equivalent focal length is approximately 24mm, while the aperature is F1.7 and shoots from 3.3' (1 meter) to infinity.

4K/60fps Video: The Mini 4 Pro shoots video at an incredible 4K/60 fps to capture every second with UHD quality. With support for recording 4K/100fps and 1080p/200fps slow-motion video, the Mini 4 Pro can capture all your epic high-speed adventures. Video is recorded in MP4 (MPEG-4 AVC/H.264, HEVC/H.265). • BMS (Battery Management System): As well as monitoring the battery status during flight, the BMS (Battery Management System) also has overcharge and over discharge protection, reducing the likelihood of battery damage. When not in use for extended periods of time, DJI Intelligent Flight Battery Plus automatically discharges to 50% charge, keeping it at an optimum charge level for extended battery life. When flying in cold temperatures, the BMS will activate low-temperature protection and will control power output according to the temperature. This ensures the battery can provide adequate propulsion without damage from the cold.

Notes: The aerial drone will automatically return to home if the battery signal is getting too low. The drone may land automatically if the current battery level can only support the aircraft long enough to descend from its current altitude.

Battery Charging: The included DJI Mini 4 Pro Two-Way Charging Hub lets you recharge the included controller and up to three Intelligent Flight Batteries, or Intelligent Flight Batteries Plus, simultaneously. Alternatively, individual Flight Batteries can be recharged while installed in the aircraft using the supplied USB-C cable and an optional AC/USB charger (sold separately). The DJI Mini 4 Pro Two-Way Charging Hub enhances efficiency by charging batteries in sequence according to their remaining power level, with more fully-charged batteries receiving power first. The battery charging hub also features the new power accumulation function, which can transfer the remaining power from multiple batteries to the battery with the highest remaining power. The Mini 4 Pro Two-Way Charging Hub receives power via a USB-C connection to an optional AC/USB charger such as the DJI 30W USB-C Charger or other USB Power Delivery charger (both sold separately).

Power Connection: A USB-C port on the Mini 4 Pro Battery Charging Hub can be used as an input for charging batteries using an optional AC/USB charger. The USB-C port can also be used as an output for charging the remote controller, smartphones, or other devices. In this mode, the Charging Hub uses power from charged batteries inserted into the hub to recharge external devices.

Charging Time: The Two-Way Charging Hub can charge three Intelligent Flight Batteries in about 3 hours, and charge three Intelligent Flight Batteries Plus in about 4 hours.
