Clay art pays intricate attention to nature

Clay artist John McCarthy focuses on intricate forms, shapes and textures found in nature in his “Botanical Forms” exhibit. Here, the work abstractly depicts the smallest details in botanical flora using various ceramic textures and glazes.

Appearing with McCarthy’s work are photographs by James Norton, whose abstract images of colors and shapes from the botanical world compliment the works.
