Priyanka Chopra just landed the cover of Maxim India after being named the magazine's choice for the hottest woman in the world. Wearing a cutout and see-through dress, the Quantico star definitely lives up to the title on the cover.
But that didn't stop Maxim India from retouching the cover image to the point where one of Priyanka's body parts looks unrecognizable, and people were not happy about it.

It's her armpit, funny enough — not your usual Photoshop fail, but a glaring one nonetheless. As anyone with an armpit knows, they don't much look like the smooth swath of skin pictured here on Priyanka. There are lines and bends and folds, and there's really nothing wrong with that; that's just how armpits are.
When Priyanka posted the cover on Instagram, her fans were excited ("I love her! She is sooo gorgeous!" "ugh mom is slayin"), but they were also perplexed. "Beautiful PC! But Barbie dolls armpits...too photoshopped!!" wrote one commenter. Another asked, "How photoshopped can an armpit get????"
Neither Priyanka nor the magazine have addressed the comments about the Photoshop fail.
Another sleeveless look from the cover story shows suggests less retouching in the armpit region, and Priyanka still looks like the hottest woman on the planet, which begs the question, was it really necessary to go so far for the cover?
