META Series Matthew Bellamy MBM-2 Signature Guitar Released
Global guitar manufacturer Cort, together with Matthew Bellamy, the lead guitarist of the rock band Muse, and Manson Guitar Works are pleased to announce an updated and expanded range for the award winning META Series MBM model. The MBM-2 range includes revised body contouring - more closely aligned to Bellamy’s stage guitars - a new Manson designed custom neck P-90 pickup option, a factory fitted USA Sustainiac Sustainer equipped model, and a left hand option previously not available in the META series range. All design and development work has been completed and personally overseen by Manson Guitar Works.

A new color, Meta-Blue, in striking high gloss finish, joins the line-up for the Sustainiac Sustainer version, whilst the popular Matt Black and Starlight Silver finish remain for the new P-90 equipped version. Features that won the MBM-1 many accolades remain as before; sleek maple neck with satin finish for the ultimate played-in feel, a solid basswood body, special Manson designed bridge humbucker and a kill button that allows a wide range of guitar effects to be created by the player without resorting to outboard effects. The headstock design features Bellamy’s distinct signature together with the Manson logo.

With the new ownership under Matthew Bellamy, the META Series range of models were created in 2020 which seeks to introduce Manson's renowned quality and design at an affordable price point whilst retaining the shape, features and details that feature on the company’s headline products.
