Alice Cullen

Grew Up… ostracized in 1920. Even in her human life, Alice had visions of the future. Her father sent her away to a mental asylum where she met the vampire that would eventually turn her. Strengthened psychic powers led her to a vampire named Jasper and eventually the Cullen family, where she was adopted by Carlise.

Living… with the Cullens in Washington as a vampire. Alice has been a vampire so long that she doesn’t recall any other way of life. As she says, “For everyone else, the pain of transformation is the sharpest memory they have of their human life. I remember nothing of being human.”

Profession… student at Forks High school with her mate and adoptive siblings to wade off suspicions of the family.

Interests… fashion and family. Once Bella enters the Cullens’ life, Alice loves experimenting with new styles on her, much to Bella’s discontent. She insists that Bella have a normal teenage life, the one she couldn’t have. This includes makeovers and shopping trips!

Relationship Status… married to Jasper, who she spent years seeking out after a vision of him. Jasper is not as well adjusted to the “vegetarian” vampire style as the rest of the Cullens. Alice is always there to be by his side and help him adjust to a peaceful life with a loving hand. 

Challenge… dealing with the burdens of such a strong power. Alice is often weighed down by her visions, seeing futures that could be detrimental to her family. With this power, the Cullens can prevent potential disasters, but they still interfere with Alice’s mental health, and can lead to huge misunderstandings when visions aren’t exactly as they appear.

Personality… optimistic, independent, and peppy. Alice is the quirkiest member of the Cullen family, and she is often found in her own world, whether because of far-off futuristic visions or a happy disconnect as she dances to the beat of her own drum. Alice is incredibly caring around those close to her. She quickly warms up to Bella Swan and often acts as a big sister to her.
