Such is the case with Ram and its upcoming facelifted 1500, as a YouTuber stumbled upon an intriguing detail on the brand’s website. Not only does it suggest the return of the well-equipped Tungsten trim, but more significantly, it confirms the introduction of the high-output twin-turbo Hurricane inline-six engine.
The document for the 2025 Ram 1500 Tungsten Crew Cab 4×4 was brought to our attention by Pickup Truck Plus SUV Talk on YouTube (via Carbuzz), although it was also featured a few weeks ago on the Butter Da Great channel. The long URL with the mysterious model’s VIN number and a detailed list of standard and optional equipment was working until a few days ago but is now delivering an “Oops! Unsupported VIN” message, likely meaning that someone at Dodge took notice and took it down.

The big news about the 2025 Ram 1500 Tungsten is the new flagship powertrain. The most powerful version of the twin-turbo 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine, which is already available in the Jeep Grand Wagoneer, produces a hefty 503 hp (375 kW / 510 PS) and 500 lb-ft (678 Nm) of torque.
This makes it more powerful than the 5.7-liter HEMI V8, which churns out 395 hp (295 kW / 400 PS) and 410 lb-ft (556 Nm) of torque in the current Ram 1500 Limited. There is a possibility that the high-output twin-turbo inline-six may come as standard in the Tungsten trim of the facelifted 1500. By offering both the V8 and the twin-turbo inline-six, Stellantis could cater to both traditional buyers and those seeking maximum efficiency and performance. Additionally, it is expected that the 3.6-liter V6 Pentastar will continue to be available in the lower trims.
The Return Of The Tungsten
Setting aside the Hurricane engine, the Tungsten trim returns to the ICE-powered Ram 1500 lineup following a multi-year absence and after being introduced in the fully electric 1500 REV. The high-spec model will bridge the gap between the Limited and the TRX in terms of equipment and pricing.
As per the listing, one of the notable standard features is a “front passenger interactive display,” which is expected to be the same 10.25-inch unit found in the Jeep Wagoneer, Grand Wagoneer, and Grand Cherokee. However, this won’t be the only new screen in the truck. The higher-spec variants of the 2025 RAM 1500 will reportedly adopt the 14.5-inch infotainment touchscreen from the 1500 REV, while lower trims will likely receive a 10.2-inch display. In addition, the truck is said to feature a 12-inch digital instrument cluster and a head-up display.
The leaked PDF also reveals several other standard features, such as 22-inch wheels, air suspension, a suede headliner, a premium sound system, a dual wireless charging pad, a jeweled rotary shifter, a panoramic sunroof, an “ultra-premium” sound system, an array of interior lighting, and a variety of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).
The facelifted Ram 1500 is expected to debut in 2024, as a 2025MY. Prototypes have already been spotted testing out in the open, with heavy camouflage hiding the redesigned bumpers but revealing the new LED graphics of the headlights. There are differing opinions among sources, with some speculating that the updated Ram 1500 will closely resemble the 1500 REV, while others suggest that there will still be some level of differentiation between the two.
