What's New For the 2020 Kia Rio?

The 2020 Kia Rio has received a complete makeover. It has more features in all trims and has an entirely new engine. Each trim comes with a 7-inch infotainment display system that is compatible with smart devices. The new engine is a 1.6 liter that is four cylinders and is much more fuel-efficient offering mileage of 33 mpg in the city and 41 mpg on the highway.

2020 Kia Rio Trims and Features

The 2020 Kia Rio is both available as a sedan and as a hatchback. The interior is comfortable throughout the vehicle, no matter the model you get. The 2020 Kia Rio is available in two trims; the Kia Rio LX and the Kia Rio S. The Kia Rio is a front-wheel-drive, five-seat subcompact car that's offered in sedan and four-door hatchback body styles. It is delightful in the interior with the infotainment system that comes included in every model.

All the technology features are accessed through the 7.0-inch color touch-screen display. The Rear-Camera Display allows you to see what's behind your vehicle when reversing. Use the touch-screen display to access your phone and its features with several different elements. One highlight is Bluetooth® Wireless Technology, which allows you to connect to your Kia Rio to play your music. You can also connect using Android Auto™ or Apple CarPlay®. If you like voice commands, use Siri® Eyes Free to control the sound and infotainment system.

The Kia Rio LX has the most standard capabilities and is only available as a sedan. The infotainment display for the Rio LX is seven inches. The audio system has six speakers for the compatibility with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth systems, USB systems, and Siri Eyes Free. There are also rearview cameras with the display.

The Kia Rio S becomes a little more advanced, and it's available as a sedan and hatchback. This trim offers more rear seat compatibilities with rear USB chargers and folding seats. There is also cruise control and keyless entry. You can continue adding on to the technological advancements by purchasing a Technology Package for collision alerts, emergency brakes, and LED lighting.

2020 Kia Rio Horsepower

Kia Rio models are available with a 1.6-liter gas engine, with output up to 120 HP, depending on the engine type. The 2020 Kia Rio comes with front-wheel drive. The Kia Rio available transmissions include continuously variable-speed automatic.
