Antique Silver George II Irish Sauce Boat.
A lovely small Antique silver Irish rococo sauceboat / creamboat made in circa 1750 by Robert Calderwood of Dublin. On one side there is a swan on a lake surrounded by floral motifs on the other a mythical fish amidst foliage. To the front is a vacant cartouche and to the rear there is a beautiful overhanging shell motif. A rare piece by one of eighteenth century Ireland’s finest makers.
