MP3008 Submachine Gun
Description
MP3008 Submachine Gun. Tubular receiver of pressed steel and crudly welded together. It has an exposed barrel without a cover jacket and a pressed metal trigger box housing. The butt stock is a steel rod with a flat shoulder plate and a triangular plate welded at the wrist as a grip. Marked 'tjg' on the left side of the action. The magazine does not have a spring and end cap.
History / Summary
This weapon is a crudely made copy of the British STEN gun but has the magazine port under the action instead of the left side. They were issued at the end of World War Two as a last ditch measure against the Allied armies.
