I have read some badly written books in my time, but never one on the level of Nigel Cawthorne's "Pirates of the 21st Century". Not only is it poorly written, but is also filled with the most basic sentence structure errors and misspellings throughout. Doesn't John Blake Publishing employ a copy editor or, at the very least, a proofreader? Astute readers are sure to find the publisher's disregard of accepted publishing standards offensive.
Don't waste your time and money. There are at least a half dozen other books on the subject - all of them a pleasure to read.
