1. The cat door attaches with part of it UNDER the door. So, unless you have an extra 8th inch, at least, on the bottom of the door, you will need to make some adjustments. I cut off the part of the cat door that attaches under the door.

2. You have to be prepared to carry and move the door. You have to flip it over to install the inner part.

3. It's cute, and works just fine. Cat adjusted easily to the hole instead of the open door.
