About Turkish Tea

The method normally used to brew Turkish tea is different from the most common way worldwide. In the traditional way, Turkish tea is made by using a double-decked teapot. The lower pot is usually bigger and is used for boiling water. Tea leaves are put into the upper teapot, and when water is ready, it is poured from the lower pot into the upper one to start the infusion process. Some hot water remains in the lower pot. The reason follows in the next paragraph.

This preparation method allows the tea to be served in different strengths to satisfy different palates. Both pots are used while serving Turkish tea. First, the brewed tea is poured from the smaller pot into the tulip-shaped tea glasses. Then it is diluted with water from the bigger pot. If someone prefers darker tea then their brew is mixed with less water. This can be adjusted by watching the colour of the mixture which varies from pink to dark, almost black tea.

sI've always been a big tea drinker , and had used a regular teapot up until I bought this product.The quality of the tea is the same with the regular teapot , might even be better than since there is no room of error to over heat/burn the tea. Also the fact that this product can also be used not only a tea maker but also as a cattle to boil water will let you to not to occupy an extra room in the kitchen counter by just replacing the cattle. Most importantly , the fact that this product is very easy to clean and not having to clean the burn marks on the regular teapots from on the gas stove is a huge advantage over a regular teapot.Overall, a safer, cleaner teapot/cattle without lacking from the taste of a regular teapot. Definitely recommended !

I absolutely love this teapot as it is. However, one of the handles came up I contacted the seller and they were so responsive and so helpful since a replacement for it by far best customer service I’ve had on Amazon would highly recommend again.
