Range Extensions and Review of the Caprellid Amphipods (Crustacea: Amphipoda: Caprellidae) from the Shallow, Coastal Waters from the Suwanee River, Florida, to Port Aransas, Texas, with an Illustrated Key2004 •
Seventeen species of caprellid amphipods have been recorded so far in the Gulf of Mexico. New distributional and habitat data are included for 12 species. Pseudaeginella biscaynensis has been recorded again in the Gulf of Mexico for the first time since it was originally described 45 years ago. New orphological information based on the development of Deutella mayeri and a redescription of Metaprotella hummelincki are also provided, along with a key for species identification and zoogeographical comments at the regional and global scales

Redescription of the rare amphipod crustacean Pseudaeginella montoucheti (Quitete, 1971) from Brazil2011 •
Pseudaeginella montoucheti (Quitete, 1971) is redescribed based on newly collected specimens from red and brown algae and tubiculous polychaete colony that were obtained from shallow waters at Tamboretes Archipelago, Balneário Barra do Sul and ...

The re-description and distribution of two new records (Amphipoda: Caprellidae) from the Egyptian Red Sea coast2013 •
Two caprellid amphipod species namely; Pseudocaprellina pambanensis Sundara Raj, 1927 and Hemiaegina minuta Mayer, 1890, were recorded as a part of the amphipod fauna associated with macroalgae in the coast of Hurghada Red Sea. The re-description and illustrations of the two species are based on the examination of 4627 individuals, 88% of them were P. pambanensis and the rest were H. minuta. The two caprellid species were collected from six sites scattered over Hurghada coast and their distribution and abundance were investigated. ª 2013 Production and hosting by Elsevier B.V. on behalf of National Institute of Oceanography and Fisheries.
