Very Fine Mid 18th Century George III Sterling Silver Gravy Boat, London, 1761

A very fine & generously proportioned mid 18th century Georgian sterling silver gravy boat, showing foliate embossed motifs and a blank cartouche, affixed with an impressive double-scrolled foliate cast handle. Raised overall on cabriole supports descending from shell shaped knees to pad feet, the underside bearing London hallmarks, date letter for 1761 and London makers marks for Walter Brind. Weighing an impressive 11.57 troy ounces.
