18. James Bond Jr. (1991)

As laughable as the concept of a video game centered around James Bond's nephew might sound, James Bond Jr. has existed since 1967, first appearing in a spin-off novel and then in his own animated TV series, a collection of novels, some comic books, and later this video game.

In 1992, THQ published two versions of James Bond Jr. for the NES and SNES respectively, the former a puzzle-platformer, the latter a shooter.

Neither version drummed up much business though, perhaps due to the mediocre visuals and gameplay, and a whatever story which couldn't even draw from the movies.

It's certainly interesting enough as a morbid curio, but hardly great as a piece of entertainment.
