This is a new reproduction Willys scripted body tub for the early 1941-1942 MB. Our bodies are made out of corrosion resistant galvanneal unlike others. This red primer body tub is prepared in a seven step metal preparation process. All metal is bath dipped to removed dirt, grease, and surface rust. Bodies are then acid dipped and rinsed to remove any remaining corrosion and resist further corrosion. Bodies and parts are then finished in the correct red epoxy primer and ready for paint. These kits include all factory mounting locations and under body channels. Some drilling and alignment will be required for complete installation. These are made in the same original steel thickness of 18 gauge steel. Alternate part number: A-12237BO-WLS
This is a body tub only and does not include any additional items. The body features the following items.
I was dealing with 2 problems. First the clearance between the seat was less than 5 inches, second was getting on the pedals. You had to spread your legs around the steering wheel to get a foot up. The 15" option mostly solved these problems. This was done on my 67 CJ5 V6. I also machined a plastic bushing to use my existing 2 3/8" horn button.
