Year of the Rat: Bike Show

Save the date - February 1st, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Who doesn't love looking at a few good rat bikes in the middle of winter?

Welcome to 2020. A new decade and a new celebration of the Chinese New Year. It's the year of the rat. The white metal rat to be exact.

And hey - we're all motorcyclists. "Rat" and "metal" are enough for us. Sounds like a good enough reason to put on a bike show. And a bike show we will put on.

The Chinese New Year runs from January 25 and the celebration runs into February. The show, however, will only run one day and that is Saturday February 1st.

The location will be the Backfire Moto Bar located at 7701 Aurora Ave N. Show times are 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. But you're welcome to stick around for a band that is playing later that evening. Admission is FREE!

Rat Bikes Wanted!

We're on the lookout for bikes. We've got enough room for 20 inside and more space outside if we need it. Have you got a rat bike you'd like to share with show goers? Simply email a photo and description to sreditor@soundrider.com and we'll get in touch with you about details. Bikes must be submitted by January 20th.

What constitutes a rat bike? The rattier the better!

Vote for your favorite. We'll have several awards we're handing out that day so come and help decide the people's choice award.
