This on a fresh Windows 7 64bit install.

Fresh Lock On Modern Air Combat install.
Fresh DCS World 1.2.2 install with bundled VC++ and DirectX.
Fresh FC 3 Install.
DCS Updated on launch.

Still cannot get it right.

It behaves the same way for all FC3 aircrafts. DCS World Su-25T is all good as you can see at bottom.

I didnt bought it yet, But I should be able to play offline even if I didnt purchased it yet. Or Im wrong ?

did you register the FC3 install? if you dont activate it, the assets (cockpit shapes/textures etc) are protected by the DRM.

You need to purchase a serial number from ED then apply the serial when the tab asks you to .Click on next to activate online and then away to go.

That explains. I was afraid of purchasing a beta that wouldn't work. I'll go get my activation key then.

Its got nothing to do with activation at all, I bought it on Wednesday night and activated it straight away using the key from the website. Message confirmed activation with key was successful. Everything was fine at first, lovely new F15 pit and the modded others included. Now completely out of the blue (tonight) I am getting the same thing as the OP, well p*ssed off. ar15 If I don't get the pits back I'm asking for a refund, yep I know its 'beta' and you expect niggles of course but 25 quid for this is just taking the p*ss lol.

External views are fine, but thats not much consolation as you can't fly them from external view.

One thing that did happen prior though is I got 2 BSOD's after installing my lock on Flaming cliffs GOLD CD, which I patched to 1.12b in order to got through the training missions again to refresh. I think it might have something to do with 'Starforce' which I had completely forgot about. The reason I patched it up was because I thought that one of the patches actually removed Starforce protection and replaced it with some other kind as I remember. I got a message saying something about Starforce being an "unsigned driver" and windows didn't like it, can't remember exact details. Everything went weird after that, which probably isn't a coincidence.

I have FC 2 as well, and I'm getting 'buyers remorse' now. The new F15C pit is great, but I can't get it back for now, or any of them for that matter. Tried loads of things. Any ideas chaps? I know there is a "repair DCS world" option, but I'm very reluctant to do that as all other modules work fine (have bought them all barring 'Combined arms')

EDIT: Think I'll try a system restore to last night or just after installation when it worked fine, I'll report back if this fixes it. Also forgot to mention that computer would not start up properly after installation and performed a 'startup repair' which I let it do, and for some reason after that the 'Lock on' Flaming Cliffs exe has disappeared from desktop as well. I think it has something to do with that b*stard Starforce.

Hey presto! Just did a restore, and all is well again....have all pits back, for now. I'll report back if it goes FUBAR again. The mind boggles. screwy

Cheers. smile

It sounds like something got corrupted during install/ update. All's well that ends well, right?
