Join Us for the D.C. Tweed Ride 2021!

Dear Recreational Habits Community,

Please join us on November 7th at 11AM to celebrate the 12th annual Tweed Ride through D.C. My wife and I will be there, dressed in our best tweed looks on vintage bikes to ride with our fellow style lovers and enjoy a beautiful picnic afterwards. All are welcome, and the event is free. Since the event itself is a celebration of style that is often forgotten, we hope to see a lot of unique looks inclusive of newsboy hats, pocket-watches and a unique mustache or two.

This year the ride starts and ends at Southwest Waterfront Park, near 600 Water St SW, Washington, D.C. The ride kicks off at 11:00 but please arrive early! Visit the official page for more information.

Hosted by the Dandies & Quaintrelles (est. 2009), a Washington, DC based social group known for organizing and hosting vintage-inspired, stylish events, this will be one for the ages as it was cancelled last year due to COVID. So, incase you haven’t already, dust off your tweed and get ready for a fantastic Sunday afternoon activity. If you’re in need of a little outfit inspiration, check out some images below from Tweed Runs past.

We look forward to seeing you there, kick off starts at 11AM!
