Everything About the TVR Tuscan Is Insane

From Road & Track

A lot of sports cars today offer extreme performance, huge amounts of power, and brutally quick acceleration. But there aren't really any that still qualify as truly insane. The TVR Tuscan, though? That's definitely insane.

Take the battery, for example. It's located behind the passenger-side front fender, and to replace it, you have to remove the wheel. But the jumper connector also faces down and is unprotected, which means road debris can cause the battery to short. And shorting batteries have a habit of causing fires. But if your engine catches on fire in the Tuscan, there isn't much you can do about it because the cars came from the factory with the hood bolted shut.

That's just one of the many ridiculous design issues the Tuscan has. It gets even more absurd from there. To hear about rest, check out this video from our friend Doug DeMuro.
