Microscopic crustaceans The body consists of a cephalothorax, a thorax and an abdomen. There are two antennas on the head. They reproduce by eggs. Many species carry the eggs for a while in egg sacs, some release the fertilized eggs directly into the water. Out of the egg comes a nauplius larva that looks like a small spider.
