Longtail

The longtail is from the book “warrior cats”, but the image was taken from the anime of the same name. I like this character image more than the book image. Although many compare him to Pikachu.

Looking good.

Tell me, are you more of an anthropomorphic artist or four-legged animal artist?

(your profile picture might give me the answer but I don’t know if I’m wrong :eyes:)

I draw both, but I have more experience in four-legged animals

Ooh, you draw both? That’s interesting.

I’m more experienced in anthropomorphic animals. Four-legged animals are cool, but I’m not the best at drawing them, so I stick with the anthro style.

Not trying to self-promote, but my portfolio is a huge example of anthropomorphic animals. Don’t know if you’ve ever seen any of my artworks before, but do you want to go see? Maybe it might inspire you!

I have a question. How do you do this?! I start stuff but never really finish it because I do not like it but it looks like you did not even try to get here

If you don’t like something, you have two options: you can continue to work on it until you like it, or you can try to paint it again, but in a way that you feel is better.

But you shouldn’t make it a problem for yourself if you don’t like one of your paintings, that’s usually a hindrance. And always remember that even those you admire started small and only became great through practice, practice, practice and repetition without number. And even with those you will find a fly in the ointment here and there, well, next time it will be done better. Learn from your mistakes, but don’t despair.

I don’t know how you structure your pictures, but as a hint, an image structure with layers is helpful for correcting mistakes, it’s better to have one layer too many than not being able to fix a mistake easily and simply! You can easily merge or delete the layer that is too many to separate work steps. This can be more problematic for images with only one layer, or too many work sections on one layer, especially those errors where you have combined too much on one layer, they can become a pain, as they are often difficult to fix

Very sleek and charming! :heart_eyes_cat: I really love your work! I especially love felines and so have gravitated toward anthro-cats since Thunder Cats in my teens! :heart_on_fire:

Fantastic!
